On Sunday 27th July 2008, Bert and I are going to embark on an epic 350 mile walk starting at the Riverside Cricket Ground in Durham, we will then walk all the way down to the Oval Cricket Ground in London, taking in Headingley (Leeds), Trent Bridge (Nottingham), Edgbaston (Birmingham) and Lords (London). We aim to finish the walk on Saturday 9th August with sore limbs and blisters aplenty.

The reason we are visiting cricket grounds on the way is because we are both huge cricket fans and have spent many drunken weekends in the summer watching England play around the country.

At the end of the walk we are holding an after walk party at Branston Hall Hotel which is just outside Lincoln. Here we will be auctioning and raffling off all of the sporting memorabilia and prizes that we will have accumulated over the last few months.

As you can see this walk is not going to be easy, but we are both determined to achieve it and help to raise as much money and awareness as we can for The Jennifer Trust.
